Cupar & District Model Railway Club held its 18th Annual exhibition “Cupar Model Rail” over the weekend 19th-20th September 2009. We welcomed layouts from Dundee MRC, Glenrothes MRC, Edinburgh & The Lothians MRC, Pentland MRG, Granite City, RAF Kinloss. Also a LEGO railway, the Dundee Model Boat Club and the Glenrothes Model Engineers.
The raffle was drawn on Sunday afternoon, and prize winners will be notified shortly. At Cupar Model Rail we present an annual trophy to the best layout in the show as judged by one of the traders. This year “The Bill Scobie Memorial Trophy for Modelling Excellence” went to Glendevon from Edinburgh and The Lothian's MRC.
We cannot put a show on like this without the assistance of our club members, the exhibitors,the traders and Café Staff, but most of all the public who attended the show over the weekend. Thank-you.
